“Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord.”

Advent has a twofold character: as a season to prepare for Christmas when Christ’s first coming to us is remembered; and as a season when that remembrance directs the mind and heart to await Christ’s Second coming at the end of time. Advent is thus a period for devout and joyful expectation.

We warmly invite you to join us for our services and special events and studies during the season of Advent.

Holy Eucharist

The First Sunday of Advent is November 29. We will celebrate the Holy Eucharist during Advent at 9 a.m. on November 29, December 6, December 13 and December 20.

Stir up your power, O Lord, and with great might come among us; and, because we are sorely hindered by our sins, let your bountiful grace and mercy speedily help and deliver us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen.

Watch and Pray

Watch and Pray is an online course every Wednesday evening at 7 pm, where we will explore Advent themes of witness, hope and waiting, through study of the Gospel readings from Year B. There will be a mixture of media – music, images and text. Each session will conclude with a short closing worship. The duration of each session will be around 60 minutes. Please contact the office if you are interested in attending.
